About ifoodlink

ifoodlink began as a way for me to organize the many parts of my life that have always been connected through food.

I studied food science and food service management in Korea, with a focus on traditional Korean food and fermentation. Later, I studied agricultural economics in the United States, which helped me think about food not only as culture, but also as part of markets, systems, and consumer behavior.

Over time, I worked with food service, Korean food products, market research, and U.S. regulatory topics such as FDA labeling and market entry. But ifoodlink is not only about professional work. It is also about curiosity.

I created this space to write about the foods I notice, the products I find interesting, the places I visit, the people I meet, and the questions I continue to ask.

My goal is not to present perfect answers. My goal is to keep learning, connecting, and sharing useful observations about food, culture, health, and global markets.

Why Food?

Food is one of the easiest ways to understand people. It shows where we come from, what we value, how we care for our families, and how cultures travel across borders.

Through ifoodlink, I want to look at food from many angles: as tradition, as business, as health, as memory, and as a bridge between Korea and the United States.
